Mark is a Client Director at HR Trustees Limited. He has a full range of professional trustee appointments from solvent wind ups and buy out projects to ongoing defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes.
Mark has been in the pension industry working with both corporate sponsors and trustee boards for well over 30 years. He started his career with a specialist pensions company providing consultancy support services in their marketing and consultancy team.
Mark later become a senior consultant with two of the UK’s leading benefit consulting firms. His role involved being a client relationship manager and lead pension consultant for progressively larger and more complex client appointments. He also undertook a number of managerial roles and led a variety of special projects.
Mark has a substantial portfolio of ongoing defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) trusteeships. He routinely works on covenant reviews, funding negotiations, investment strategy reviews, corporate transactions, liability reduction strategies, buy outs and scheme closures.
Mark has many outside interests including working for the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme as an Expedition Assessor.
