Colin is a Client Director at HR Trustees Limited. He acts as professional trustee to both defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) clients. He is chair of the pension trustee board for two arrangements of £200m+.
Colin started his pensions career in consultancy with Leslie & Godwin in the early seventies. He assisted scheme managers transition schemes from old to new code and contracted schemes out of the State Earnings Related Pension Scheme.
In 1979, he moved to Hogg Robinson Benefit Consultants. Here he undertook special projects relating to pension scheme mergers and was responsible for defined benefit (DB) pension schemes helping sponsors implement scheme changes.
Colin has worked with a wide range of trustee board members and advisers. In addition to pension schemes, his trusteeships include employee benefit trusts, escrow agent and healthcare trusts.
Colin has survived parenthood and is pleased his children still speak to him after their teenage years!
