Rationalise 4 pension schemes’ management, following the sale of various businesses
A corporate trustee was appointed to all of the schemes. We then helped to rationalise the number of advisers across the schemes and introduce consistency between them.
We were able to call on the expertise of a number of directors to cover a range of issues, including:
Negotiating to ensure effective funding for the schemes.
Revising the schemes’ investment strategies to better reflect their objectives.
Managing the process to select and supervise external administration services.
We helped manage liability management exercises, extensive data cleansing and investigations of possible benefit buy-outs.
Our trustees were able to effectively progress a number initiatives at the same time by using the skills of a number of directors - including legal, investment and administration.
